Christmas is my FAVOURITE time of year! In western countries, it is all about family, good food, and lots and lots of presents!
クリスマスは私のいっっちばん好きなとき！
欧米でクリスマスと言えば、家族・クリスマス料理・プレゼントの多さ！

It made me happy to see our kids donning their Christmas attire.
こども達がクリスマスの服を着てきてくれました。うれしい♪

Do you know what we wear in England? Christmas jumpers! But not normal Christmas jumpers – really ugly Christmas jumpers! It’s a kind of tradition. We wear them because these ugly jumpers are so funny!
イギリスではクリスマスに何を着るか知っていますか？
クリスマスセーターです。
でも、普通の可愛いセーターではなくて、すごくださくて、みにくいセーターです！
やっとこれも伝統になってきました。面白いからこんなださいセーターを着ます。

Some people are embarrassed, but not me. Then again, I don’t mind wearing this reindeer outfit so…
恥ずかしいと思う人もいるけど、私はぜんぜん恥ずかしくないです。
もちろん．．．トナカイの衣装を着るのも恥ずかしくないよ．．．

How about New Year’s Day? What do you think we do?

Actually, on the night of the 31st, we have a party. When it turns 12AM, we all celebrate together. That’s why we don’t do anything on the 1st – we are resting!
実は、３１日の夜、パーティーをします。１２時になると、みんな一緒に喜びます。そのため、１日に何もしません。パーティーで疲れているから！

It’s not a family day and we don’t go to a shrine. What do you think about that? Is it strange?
