I want to write a blog about the summer holidays.
夏休みについてブログ書きたいと思います。

In America they call it ‘summer vacation’ but in the U.K., we call it ‘summer holidays’.
アメリカ英語は「サマーバケーション」ですが、イギリス英語は「サマーホリデーズ」。

It seems a lot of our students went abroad for their summer holidays.
私たちの多くの生徒さんたちが海外旅行をしたみたいです。

That made all of us at Hop Step Jump happy!
ホップステップジャンプのみんなはそれを聞いてハッピー！になったよ！

Lots of the countries our students went to were English-speaking countries.
生徒さん達が行った国はだいたい英語圏でした。

Well done, parents. Well done. We want to praise you. 😉
お父さん、お母さん、お疲れさまでした！お父さんもお母さん尊敬します！

Seeing another country besides your home country is important for everyone, we think.
母国以外の国に旅することは大切だと思います。

Especially countries like Japan and the U.K., because they are islands, which are harder to leave.
特に日本やイギリスなどの島の国の人たちは。島国だからこそ、出にくいですよね。

Using one BB card, we can easily say where we went for our summer holidays.
BBカードの一枚を使って、夏休みの間どこに行ったの？って英語で簡単に言えます。

(Charlie Champion) went to (China).
チャーリーチャンピオンさんは中国に行きました。

N-chan went to the Philippines.
Nちゃんはフィリピンに行きました。

K-chan went to Guam.
Kちゃんはグアムに行きました。

S-chan and T-kun went to Guam, too.
SちゃんもT君もグアムに行きました。

H-kun and R-chan went to Thailand.
H君とRちゃんはタイに行きました。

Y-chan. S-kun and A-chan also went to Thailand.
兄弟のYちゃん、S君、Aちゃんもタイに行きました。

I hope you all spoke a lot of English!
みんなが旅行中にたくさん英語を使ってくれていたら、嬉しいなー。

Some other students have also been to Hawaii and Singapore since they started coming to Hop Step Jump.
ホップステップジャンプで勉強してから、ハワイやシンガポールなどの国に行ったことのある生徒さんたちもいますよね。

We love when the kids go abroad!
