We’re in middle of March! We just want to share our students learning for this month!
もう3月なかばですね！今日は、今月生徒たちが学んだことを紹介したいと思います。
This month, one of our elementary classes’ target is about English words they can use to give commands or suggestions.
今月はの小学生のテーマが、よく使う命令形でした。
It sounds a lot but it’s easy to use in their everyday lives to practice English.
たくさんありそうだけど、日常生活の中でよく使うし、英語の練習にもってこいのターゲット。

For example, most Japanese kids know the meaning of “eat” but when we use the words like “don’t, let’s, please” with “eat”, the meaning changes.
例えば、ほとんどの生徒たちは”eat”の意味を知っていますよね。それを“don’t, let’s, please” をつけて意味を変化させていきます。
“Let’s eat!”「さぁ食べましょう！」
“Don’t eat OO”「〇〇を食べないで」
“Please eat OO”「〇〇を食べてください」

Easy, right?
かんたんでしょ？

In the class, after they learned how to use the words correctly through speaking, we want them to remember so they made their own rules for our English class!
スピーキングを通してどんな単語を学んだか、生徒たちに覚えていてほしくて、自分たちでクラスルームルールを作ってもらいました！
They made posters.
ポスターにしましたよ。

As you can see they made interesting rules – don’t speak Japanese, don’t shout, let’s have fun, etc.! These kids are impressive!
おもしろそうなルールがたくさんあるでしょう？さすが私たちの生徒！

It’s funny though, one student wrote, “Let’s eat!” as a rule in the class. Hmmmm… not really sure about that.

Now, every time they enter the lesson room, they will remember the rules they made in English! Parents can take a look, too!
