We started the year with Coronavirus news.
It was a bad news.
今年の始まりはコロナウイルスのニュースから、と言っても過言ではありませんね。
We did online lesson for almost 2 months.
私たちも約2ヶ月、オンラインレッスンを行いました。
Kids did a very good job speaking, repeating, listening, and reading English.
そんな中でも生徒さんたちは、スピーキングもリピートも、リスニングもリーディングも一生懸命がんばってくれました。
We had fun learning English.
オンラインでも楽しんで英語学習ができたと思います。
Online lesson was a success.
オンラインレッスンは大成功でした♪
When school started, we also started face to face lessons.
学校が再開してからは、いよいよ教室でのレッスンもスタート。
It was good to meet students again.
生徒たちと再会できて、とっても嬉しかったー！
They remembered what we learned online.
オンラインレッスンでやったことをよく覚えてくれていて、
They did not forget basic English!
基礎がバッチリの生徒たち。
We have seen students’ improvement from kindergarten to Junior Highschool.
幼稚園の生徒から、中学生まで、みんな成長しているのが伺えました。
Kids remember songs and they sing along with dancing.
キッズクラスのこたちは歌いながら楽しくダンス♪
The lyrics will help them remember English words!
うたの歌詞は英単語を覚えるのにとても役立ちます。
Elementary students are more familiar with classroom English.
小学生たちはクラスルームイングリッシュをナチュラルに使ってくれるようになりました。
Aside from knowing introduction questions and answers, they try to speak English and understand the meanings of English commands from teachers.
自己紹介の質問と答えを覚えている傍ら、きちんと講師の言うことに対して返答し、よく理解しています。
For example:
- Pencil, please! 「鉛筆ください」
- Please be quiet!「静かにしてください」
- Sit down properly.「きちんと座って」
- Hands on your head!「手は頭に」
- Close your eyes. Etc.,「目を瞑って」など
And Junior Highschool students are more confident now in speaking English. Those who took Eiken this year passed the written tests and interview.
そして中学生はさらに英会話を楽しんでくれています。英検に挑戦した子たちは、筆記も面接も合格。
Just recently, I asked M-chan what special thing happened at school and she told me she had a cooking class and she taught me how to cook “chikuzenni” in English, I will try it soon!
ちょうど最近中学生のMちゃんに、学校の様子を聞いてみたんだけど、家庭科の授業があったらしくて「筑前煮」の作り方を英語で教えてくれたの。私も作ってみたいと思います♪
The 1st grade JHS class is enjoying learning English with eachother. They understand English and respond correctly.
中1のクラスは全員で英会話をたのしんでくれました。きちんと理解して、正しくレスポンスしてくれています。
