Some people call it the “Love month”.

In Japan, girls give boys chocolates on February 14.

However, in other countries it is the opposite.

Boys give chocolates and flowers to girls they like.

Sometimes, friends give chocolates and flowers to each other.

It is nice to receive chocolates, right?

It is nice feeling to give, too.

It is nice to make someone happy.

So if you can make someone happy on Valentine’s day.

Love month is not just for couples.

It is also about the love you have for your friends and family.

2月は「愛の月」と呼ばれることもあります。

日本では2月24日に、女の子から男の子へチョコレートをあげる習慣がありますね。

でも、他の国では、反対なのを知っていますか？

男の子が、好きな女の子にチョコレートや花束をあげるの。

友達同士であげ合うことも。

チョコレートもらうのって嬉しいですよね！

あげる方も気分がいいし。

誰かをハッピーにするのって素敵。

バレンタインは誰かを幸せにできるかも。

2月の「愛の月」は、恋人がいる人だけのものじゃないと思います。

友達や家族、「愛」をあげたい人たちのものじゃないかな♪
