How is everybody?

みなさん、お元気ですか？

When the pandemic started, almost all schools and companies around the world went online. 

コロナ感染が爆発し始めてから、世界中のほとんどの学校や会社等で、オンラインが普及しましたよね。

For everyone’s safety, students stayed home while learning.

皆の安全のために、学習もステイホームでした。

Company meetings were also conducted online to prevent the spread of the virus.

Humans are very smart to think of these ways. 

会社の会議も、感染症予防のためにオンラインで行われるようになりました。

Now that everyone is almost vaccinated, we can see that everything is slowly getting back to normal. 

Countries are opening borders again.

People can meet normally once again.

Some people are not wearing masks anymore because they don’t have to.

I am happy to see these changes.

ほとんどの人がワクチンを打つようになってきたから、少しずつゆっくり元に戻ってきている気がします。

国もまた、入国態勢を整えようとしているし、

普通に会って会話ができるようになってきています。

マスクをしないひとも見られます。

そんな変化は嬉しいことですね。

However, there is one thing that we can still bring with us even after the pandemic.

でも、コロナ感染の問題が終わっても、キープしておくべきことが一つあると思います。

I think that for some of us it is convenient to continue online work or learning.

それはオンラインを活用し続けること。

Face to face is great but for small tasks that can be done at home, online class or work is practical.

直接会うことはもちろん素晴らしいことだけど、家でできることは家でやれるようにすれば良いし、オンライン授業やテレワークも実用的だと思います。

Especially in countries that have road traffic problems, having online platform to do tasks would be very helpful. 

特に交通事情で問題があるような国では、オンラインで仕事ができるような定形があれば、とても便利だと思います。

There would be less cars on the road. People can save more if they stay home.

Workers or students could spend more time with their families.

車の数も減るし、ステイホームのおかげでより安全です。
