Last month I had a very special event, it was my wedding! On October 8th my husband and I celebrated our marriage with friends and family.
先月、私にとってスペシャルなビッグイベントがありました。それは～。。
結婚式！10月8日、大切な友達と家族にお祝いしてもらいました。
My husband is a high school teacher and we met 4 four years ago. People often ask me if my husband is also an English teacher but actually he teaches Japanese. He helps me practice Japanese and I help him practice English.
旦那さんは高校の先生で４年前に知り合った方。よく旦那さんも英語の先生？と聞かれるけれど、国語の先生なの。お互い英語と日本語を教えあっています。
We were lucky and we were able to have 11 people from Canada and 2 people from Ireland come to the wedding. I was so happy that I could see my friends and family from overseas at my wedding.
カナダから11人、アイルランドから2人の友人や家族を招くことができて、本当に嬉しかったです。
My wedding was at nippondaira hotel and it was everything I could have dreamed of. Of course the hop step jump staff were also there. We all ate, drank, cried and had fun.
日本平ホテルで行なった結婚式は、すべてが夢に見た光景。もちろんホップステップジャンプのスタッフたちもそこにいたよ。食事も飲み物もおいしくて、泣いて笑って、とっても楽しかった！
Right after the wedding we went on a trip with my family from Canada. We went to Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto and Tokyo. It was the first time for many people to come to Japan. It was so exciting showing everyone around.
結婚式を終えてすぐに、カナダの家族たちと旅行に、大阪、広島、京都、東京へ。家族のほとんどが日本に来るのが初めてで、みんなに日本を紹介できるのが楽しかったです。
Our next adventure will be going home to Canada for the first time in 4 years for Christmas. It will also be my husband’s first time to go to Canada and see where I grew up! I’m so excited
次の私たちのアドベンチャー計画は、４年ぶりのクリスマスをカナダのおうちで過ごすこと！旦那さんもカナダは初めてで、生まれ育ったカナダを見てもらうのが今からとっても楽しみ！
