What do you do in the winter to have fun? I like to go skiing in the winter.
冬の寒い日の楽しみ方はなんですか？私はスキーに行くのが好き！

There’s so much snow in Canada, so skiing is the best way to have fun in the cold winters. We learn how to ski in school growing up. We also often take school trips to the Rocky Mountains to go skiing. I was so happy to find friends in Japan that also love skiing and snowboarding.  

カナダは雪がものすごくたくさん降るから、寒い冬にはスキーが一番！
学校でもスキーのクラスがあるよ。ロッキー山脈に修学旅行も。

日本でもスキーやスノーボードをいっしょに楽しめる仲間ができてHappy！

This year my husband and I planned to go skiing three times, but unfortunately, we were only able to go two times. First, we went to Nagano to Kurumayama and it was great. 

今年旦那さんといっしょに３回スキーに行こうと予定を立てたけど２回の予定になって、最初は長野の車山に行ったよ。とっても楽しかった。

Next, we planned a trip to Hakuba to go to Happo-one. We booked a hotel and we were so excited! Our plan was to go to Hakuba on Saturday, spend the night, and then go skiing on Sunday. Unfortunately, on Sunday we woke up and it was raining so hard!! 

２回目のスキーは白馬。ホテルも予約してわくわくしながら行きました。

白馬に土曜日に行って夜泊まって、日曜日にスキーを予定して行ったんだけど・・・

なんと朝起きたら大雨！！

It was like a shower outside. There was no way we could go skiing. Disappointed, we returned to Fujieda. 

外はシャワーみたいに雨が降ってて。全くスキーに行ける状況じゃなかったので、残念だけど藤枝に帰ることにしました・・・。

Finally, this last weekend we decided to revenge on our trip to Hakuba and try to go skiing one last time.  We went back to Kurumayama and had a relaxing day skiing.

そして、先週リベンジ旅行！車山にまた行って、リラックスしたスキー旅行ができました。

Next year we will go back to Hakuba and hope for different weather. We decided we will try to go at least four times next year! Come back next year to see if we reach our goal!

来年は天気の良い日に白馬にまた行きたいな。

少なくとも４回！スキーに行こうと旦那さんと話してます。
