Today, I am going to talk about wedding traditions in the Philippines. 

今日は、フィリピンの伝統的な結婚式についてお話したいと思います。

I went back to the Philippines for two days.

I attended a friend’s wedding.

It was a beautiful wedding.

I am happy for my friend.

友だちの結婚式に参列するために、２日間フィリピンに帰ってました。

結婚式はとーっても素敵だった！

友だちが幸せそうで、こちらも幸せになりました。

Weddings in the Philippines are usually big!

There were almost 200 people in the wedding.

Ceremonies last for one and a half hours.

フィリピンの結婚式は通常とても大きいの。

だいたい200人のゲストが招かれるよ。

式自体は1時間～1時間半。

There are many traditions we need to follow.

Church weddings have priests present.

They all give blessings to the bride and groom.

After the wedding, there is a two-hour long party.

伝統的なルールがすごくたくさんあって。

教会の結婚式には牧師さんが出席しますよね。

花嫁、花婿の幸せをお祈りします。

式のあとに2時間くらいの披露宴が行なわれます。

We eat food from the buffet.

Filipino dishes during the wedding are really good!

My favorite was lechon! 

It was a fantastic wedding!!

食べ物はビュッフェ形式。

結婚式のフィリピン料理は最高においしいよ♪

”レチョン”という料理が一番好き！

とっても良い式でした。
