There are lots of English words the English learners need to learn.

英語にはたくさん単語がありますよね。

Some are easy, most are hard words to remember.

覚えるのが簡単なのも難しいのも。

In the class, we use sight words so they can be familiar with many English words.
レッスンでは、サイトワード（フォニックスのルールにあてはまらない単語）にも扱っていて、生徒さんたちは多くの英単語に触れています。

This week we did lot of listening, writing, and reading practice using these sight words.

今週はこのサイトワードを使って、リスニング、ライティング、リーディングの練習をたくさんしました！

We did spelling quiz and we are really surprised they know many English words.

スペルクイズをやったんだけど、みんなたくさんの英単語を知っていてびっくり！

They know the meaning, they know how to say them!
意味も、使い方もよく知っているんですね。

They wrote words like

生徒たちは、

up, down, three, into, went, into, what, soon, do, new, etc.

などの単語が書けました。

 

These words are hard to write when a person hears them but Fifth graders are really good in writing the correct spelling!
これらの単語は聞いただけでは書き起こすのが難しいはずなのですが、小学5年生たちはしっかり正しいスペルで書いてくれました！

In the next months we are going to learn new words!
