Yesterday was so hot, I’m surprised the students had any energy!
昨日はとっても暑かったね。でもこども達がとても元気でびっくりしたよ。
As always they arrived, excited about English class!
いつものようにこども達は教室に来ると元気いっぱい！

Before the class the students wrote a few sentences in their new books.
レッスン前の予習時間には書く練習をしたよ。
They are doing really well and their writing is getting better and better.
みんなすごく頑張ってる！だから！ちょっとずつできることが増えてきたよ。
I tried to give some of the advice about the spacing between each word.
昨日はみんなに単語と単語の間に、指一本分のスペースを開けるようにアドバイスしたよ。
We played some different phonics games including bingo (with eye spy…), and “blocks”, a game which my dad reminded me of when he came to visit in April.
それからフォニックスゲームを２種類やったよ。アイスパイとブロックス！
ブロックスは今年の４月に僕のお父さんが日本に来てくれた時に思い出させてくれたゲーム。


It’s easy to play, ask the students.
すごく簡単だからこども達に聞いてみてね。
As always we finished the class by playing card games.
We talked about a lot of different things yesterday, and we laughed a lot.
昨日もBBカードをやりながらいろんな話をして笑ったね。
